MESSAGE FROM BIANCA BEAUCHAMP:
"Hi everyone! The Emmett Ferret Shelter contacted me after seeing a photo of me with Nutmeg, my ferret, in a magazine (see right). The shelter is in need of financial support to continue help ferrets in their local community. My fans know how much I love animals and especially ferrets. The Shelter is in need of financial support and they asked me if I could help. They suggested we do an online donation event and offer a photo of me with one of my ferrets as a gift, and I glady I accepted.

Ferrets are lovable and gentle creatures. They are playful and extremely sociable. Unfortunately, most people don't know they are also high maintenance. They are real escape artists and many are lost. Also, the vet bill can get high over time, especially since many ferrets will get adrenal disease in their life. Further more, they can have the bad habit of swallowing bad things for them, and like it happened with one of my ferrets, surgery is sometimes necessery to unblock their intestines.

Too often, an uninformed owner will get a ferret for his family and realize later that ferrets are not the pets for them, and they will give up their ferret to a Shelter. Other times, ferrets are simply mal-nourished and they get sick fast and often this is the state they arrive in at shelters. This is sad, but fortunately there are people out there with a strong love for ferrets who are maintaining Ferret Shelters. Let's help the Emmett ferret Shelter and send them donations by purchasing online raffle tickets!" - Bianca

THE EMMETT FERRET SHELTER:
Our shelter's goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome ferrets. We also provide education and assistance to ferret owners. Recently, the 24k Ferret Rescue in Las Vegas, NV closed its doors. The remaining eighteen old and hard to place ferrets were transported to the Emmett Ferret Shelter. Most of these ferrets are in need of a surgery. Our veterinarian is helping out by reducing his surgery rate to $100 per ferret (an amazing price) so each raffle ticket will help even more. This raffle will help us get these ferrets healthy again and into new homes. Thank you everyone for your support and thanks a lot Bianca and Martin doing this raffle with us!
