MONTREAL FETISH WEEKEND 2005

POLYMORPHE
This year, the Montreal-based latex company, Polymorphe, celebrated its 10th anniversary, and the occasion did not pass unnoticed! All in all, three whole nights of celebration were planned. Seeing as how Montrealers love to party, this three day weekend was going to be something big!
First of all, for those of you who aren’t familiar with Polymorphe, they are a latex company founded by Mario Bouchard that creates affordably priced fashions.
Polymorphe’s style isn’t complex as Europe’s, so they can offer really high quality pieces at great prices. Among other things, Polymorphe specializes in masks that they mould in a wide variety of sizes in order to please their clients, including those on the Internet who are not able to try them on first. Also, Polymorphe pours its own latex sheets, using a process that stops the latex from sticking together, even when unpowdered!
Personally, I am a big fan of Polymorphe. I love their masks, their skirts, their gloves, and their colours, including cherry and raspberry, which I can’t find anywhere else. I got the chance to meet Mario 8 years ago and I soon adopted Polymorphe. Mario has also always been available to make custom clothing for planned photo shoots. He didn’t hesitate to pour a latex sheet specifically for me when I did my disco shoot. A whole sheet poured for a single piece of clothes. I must say the colour were really special, and it remains a unique piece :-) . In short, my closet is full of Polymorphe and there was no way I was going to miss the events organized in its honour!
PARTIES
The parties were planned from Friday night to Sunday night: Club Sin on Friday, a private play party on Saturday, and the ball on Sunday. To start the party on a good note, the idea to have a supper gathering for the Lair was posted on our forum.
I thought it was a really interesting idea because it would allow people coming from all over the world for the events to get to know one another. After many suggestions on the forum, we decided the dinner would be Thursday night. I decided to make reservations at Le Planète, which is one of my favourite places because the food is excellent and is reasonably priced from 5$ to 30$ per person. I also love the waiters! They’re really nice and remember me every time I go there. Also, because it is located in the gay village, people can dress as sexy as they like due to it being a very liberal and colourful part of town. In all we were going to be 15 people, including Mario, Martin, model Kinky Sara, and forum members Belgium Marc, Steffy, Hoky, and observer. Also, there was Ruberella, looking sweet in her sundress and her lovely smile. We decided the evening would be casual and so nobody was wearing latex, but everyone (especially the girls) was dressed pretty sexily :-) Personally, I was wearing a purple knit top that showed my braless chest and a short black skirt. Sexy and comfortable, just how I like it. Dinner went on for many hours, though I think I drank more than I ate. Oops! But I had a lot of fun, and it was good to finally be able to put faces to Steffy and Hoky’s names. (I had already met BM and Observer) I think they all enjoyed the evening and that it put them in the mood to party Friday night!
FRIDAY
As for me, all Thursday night till the morning I was partying with the toilet bowl.
I threw up all night! Come morning there was nothing left to throw up, but my stomach was cramped and trying to vomit out my intestines! And no, it wasn’t from alcohol, as I didn’t drink enough to be sick. I think it was probably some 24-hour bug. I felt awful all day, and even wondered if it wouldn’t be better to stay home and sleep instead of going to Club Sin that night. But I decided I would go anyway, telling myself it was after all, Polymorphe’s 10th anniversary and that doesn’t happen every year. I thus took a 2-hour nap, waking up at 8 pm trying to decide what to wear. Hmmm, decisions, decisions. Maybe the red riding hood? Or my new purple skirt and top? Or maybe the catsuit? It was going to be really hot though, so that meant I should exclude pants and catsuits. I finally settled on a dress that I don’t wear very often, but really suits me. It is sort of a 60’s style with long sleeves, and is completely transparent. Since I didn’t want to wear a jacket, I at least put on some panties for the trip to the club. Despite that, being that it was see-through on my breasts I still turned a lot of heads on the street! But, I arrived safe and sound, phew!
Martin and I arrived around 10 pm. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Club Sin, it is actually the name of an organization that holds fetish events on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month on the second floor of Club Cléopâtre. Our famous fetish Café closed over a year ago and Club Sin decided to pick up the torch. On fetish nights you will see people wearing leather, latex and PVC, transvestites, goths… basically, all kinds of people. You can play if you want (bondage, floggers, etc.), but I’d say it’s primarily a place to have a drink and dance.
There are also a number of shows on the stage throughout the evening. So, to get back to what I was saying, we got there around 10 pm. The room was filling up slowly, which gave me the chance to do a bit of chatting with whoever wanted to listen (Hey hey) and to do some photos with both Martin and Belgium Marc. Later on, I would probably have had too much to drink to do any. What? I’d have to kill my virus somehow, right? In any case, the worst that’ll happen with me if I get drunk is that’ll I’ll get naked and start dancing (And nudity is permitted at Cléo’s) And I was already practically naked so there would be no point in taking off my latex! :-) It was a really fun night. There was a really cute show with Ruberella who dominated lovely Audrey, walking her around on a leash and then putting her in an inflatable jacket. There was also a short film by Dominic Vincent entitled Embryo, in which I have a role. (Actually, there is only one model in it and that is me.) Embryo is the story of a woman who is reborn through latex. It features catsuits, clear 2-meter balloons, a bungee sling, and a bath full of lubricant and latex membranes. A pretty good film, considering it was shot in only 5 days. The content is so good; each day of filming could have been an independent on its own! I’m really excited to show it to you on the Internet! (You can download the film for free here) Afterwards there was a wonderful show about corrupted nuns getting off on dildos while carnal music plays. Very well done!
The night ended at around 3 am with me still clothed, but hungry so a few of us went for a poutine (Fries topped with gravy and melted cheese) at a place next to the club. Luckily, in Montreal there are restaurants open 24 hours a day! :-)
SATURDAY
We were pretty lazy throughout the day on Saturday. The next event was going to be a private party at Blah Blah Studio, Mario’s photo studio. Around 5 pm Mario’s girlfriend came to my place so that I could do her make-up. She was going to be playing the role of Green fairy (The absinthe fairy) for the night. My good friend and hairdresser Richard also did her hair. She looked really beautiful with flowers in her hair, glitter on her face, and green latex wings!
Everyone greatly appreciated having her serve them absinthe :-) I also did Kinky Sara’s make-up in shades of blue since that was the colour she was wearing, and then it was my turn: hot-pants, a belt, and sleeveless top all in transparent cherry. It was really cute as well as being comfortable. We arrived at around 11 pm already a bit tipsy after having had a few drinks at home (oops! :-)) There were already a lot of people there; most of them dressed in latex. For the occasion the Blah Blah main room was accessible, but there was also another room on a lower floor. It was there that one could find the vacuum bed, a small rooms filled with latex and balloons, as well the gasmask sessions (The room fills with smoke, depriving those wearing gasmasks of all their senses. This is all accompanied by great music. A must! I love to hide in a little corner and touch people’s hair and backs as they walk by me. When they turn around to try and see me through the smoke, oops! I’ve already disappeared. When I talk to them after the session they often tell me they think they hallucinated! Hey hey!) I guess I don’t need to tell you that this room was pretty busy all night! Everyone looked like they were really enjoying themselves! On the first floor there were people talking, sipping drinks, and playing with the sling. As for me, I decided to help Mario hand out the champagne. It’s a good thing Steffy and Belgium Marc were also there to help me! Man, was there a lot of champagne! At least 20 bottles! And then after the champagne it was time to prepare the absinthe! That’s pretty much all I did that night, a bit unfortunately, as I didn’t get to play with the vacuum bed or Mario’s electricity machine :-) but I still had a great time with Richard and Belgium Marc (Martin was taking pictures)
SUNDAY
Sunday was the big day! We woke up late and were pretty tired, but went to do rehearsals at 4 pm at Sky, the club where the event was to be held.
Sky is a great club located in the gay village. It has a main floor with a dance floor and bar, a private floor where our party was going to be held, and a terrace with a bar, pool, and hot tub! The party, called Freak Show was going to be on the private floor, which has a big dance floor, bars, and a private lounge, all accompanied by a terrific lighting system! The party was going to draw fetishists, goths, gay people, and all kinds of others who wanted to dress sexy and out of the ordinary. (The dress code prohibited jeans and running shoes) This was great for me, as I am getting pretty sick of fetish night where there are a bunch of guys in jeans! There was also going to be many entertainers such as a man dressed as the marquis de Sade who was accompanied by slaves, musicians wearing spooky make-up greeting the guests…There were also going to be many sideshows. There were Montreal’s own Jules and Freaky Nath who started the evening off by doing a presentation of heavy weights being hung from genitals. There was also the fantastic Midori, who put a lovely model in bondage, and the beautiful Ruberella with her latex sphere.
She started off trapped in the sphere, but escapes by scratching it with her nails. As she is naked, she then puts on stockings, a catsuit, gloves, a mask, and a gasmask, and then encloses herself in a mummy bag. Very sexy! Once she is in the mummy bag, guests can come massage and caress her through the bag. Mmmm! Also there was Danielle from Montreal who did a superb show of climbing one of the walls at Sky in time to devilish music. What a body, and what talent! As far as the main shows on the stage, there was my baladi show that you have no doubt read about in another of my diary entries, and a show where I am clad in a transparent catsuit and three light veils. I am a type of puppet who reacts to music and the caretaker, Martin, makes me move in time to different music by using a wind-up key. The piece lasts 8 minutes and is both sexy and funny.
It always makes me nervous to do this show, but at least people seemed to appreciate it :-) afterwards Martin continued being the MC for the events on stage (He did such a great job!) and, by popular demand, once again showed Dominic Vincent’s film. The quality of the projector was about 1000 times better than the one at Club Sin, and so really did Dominic’s work justice. There was then an artistic fashion show done in a Cirque du Soleil style. I can’t say too much about it as I couldn’t see well from backstage, but Danielle was doing acrobatics with a hoop, and another girl was climbing up a rope hung from the ceiling. The show was definitely too long and lacked the artistic direction of its director! In general though, I think all the evening’s performances were excellent, and we can forgive the fashion show.
Isabeau, the organizer of the night’s event, only had 5 weeks to organize and supervise everything, and I have to say that she did an incredible job. As for Martin and I, we brought our financial and moral support to the event. One of the best decisions they made was to hire DJ Frigid! All night the music was excellent! Let’s just say it wasn’t too underground and gothic like we always hear at Club Sin! It is always a pleasure to be able to recognize and dance to songs like Closer by Nine Inch Nails and Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson. Luckily my change of shoes allowed me to dance and be free to move; I wore my Little Red Riding Hood outfit, but with fishnets instead of latex leggings. I was able to have a few drinks, watch the sideshows, and talk and laugh with people from all over the world. A big thanks to Isabeau for giving me the best night of the weekend!
Now it is time to recuperate. Monday night there was also a party, but a private one this time. I think I’m going to need all week to recover from this 5-day weekend! But I had so much fun and it was great to be able to party in my hometown, Montreal! I love Montreal, and it is a beautiful city, especially in the summer. And judging from the comments I got, people were really impressed with its hospitality. It’s always nice to hear that!
So who knows, maybe next year? :-)
