This month, I answer a few questions I received in my inbox.

“I am 23 years old and was wondering if it is a normal age to be a fetishist or if the participants are usually older?”

Normal or not? Here we go again! How can you describe normality anyways? After all, what is normal to you might not be to me. Why should we all compare ourselves to others all the time, expecting from ourselves to make the “right” moves all the time? Well screw this! The real question you have to ask yourself is: Does this fetish make me feel happy? Yes? Well, where is the problem then? If you answered: “No, because I am afraid of what people think of me” well I’ll say you can’t please everyone and I know that for a fact! There will always be people judging you for the way you talk, your hairstyle, your house, and yes, your fetish too. But are you going to stop living your life the way you like it to please them? When I was studying at university to become a teacher and the department found out about my latex web site, I was given the choice to close my site or be kicked out of school. Kick me out? Screw them! I walked out myself! And the reason I did it is was because I realized that as a teacher, I would have had to hide my fetish all my life, going to parties dressed with a full face hood, scared of being recognized all the time. A lot of people criticized my decision to pursue my modeling career, especially my mother. To her, I was not normal to abandon security and regular pay checks in favor of a bohemian life. But the thing is, it’s only up to you to decide what to do with your life. And if you wanna be “normal” to everyone, you might end up like a sheep following others while dreaming of another life style.

“I personally have been into latex as long as I can remember, and like you said, it's the cherry on a cake. While my partner is into bondage, she has no idea about the world of latex. Any idea how to turn her on to it a bit?”

Every week I get this question by email. When I first saw latex at a sex shop, my man got so excited that it freaked me out. I was kinky for my age and yet I was terrified by this material I didn’t know anything about. I thought I was loosing my seductress power over my man and felt kind of beaten by that rubber. Silly! I hear you say. But remember humans can get very insecure when it comes to changes and things we don’t know! I left the store thinking I was angry at my boyfriend for liking it while in fact I was angry at myself of being scared of it. And because I don’t like being scared, I secretly bought the dress and soon found myself in love as well with latex. Now, about your partner, you could start by showing her some photos of latex clothing found on latex designers’ web sites and tell her why and how much she would look sexy in them. Usually, ladies love fashion. Be wise: don’t show her latex babe pics unless she is into that! You don’t want her to feel insecure and think she is competing against super pretty models! If she opens up on the idea of wearing latex and you decide to buy her a piece of clothing, pick something SHE will like even if it is not necessarily what you wish her to wear. Gasmasks, hoods, catsuits could scare her away! Be patient and don’t rush anything. After all, you are already very lucky to have an open-minded lady who is willing to tie your ass up!
